Monday, 18 December 2006 7:15 A GMT-08

JavaPolis day 3 – “my fifteen minutes of fame”

Saturday, 16 December 2006 2:48 A GMT-08
Day 3 at the conference began with a pleasant surprise when I discovered that my talk was on the front page of the daily conference newspaper. Alas, the crowds of fans didn't materialize and so I had to enjoy my fame in solitude.

Thursday, 14 December 2006 8:10 A GMT-08

JavaPolis day 1 – the beer concern

Thursday, 14 December 2006 2:09 A GMT-08
Since my POJO development talk was the next morning I had a relatively quiet evening.

Javapolis - core concerns for day 1

Monday, 11 December 2006 12:44 P GMT-08
Today was the first day of the JavaPolis conference. I spent the morning mostly listening to Eric Evan's excellent domain driven design talk. I'm a big fan of obejct-orriented design and really like the way Eric talks about it.

JavaPolis - the food and drink concern

Monday, 11 December 2006 12:14 P GMT-08
This week I'll be at the JavaPolis conference in Antwerp, Belgium. I'm excited about the trip. Not only is it my first time at a european Java conference but I am also looking foward to the food and the beer - especially the beer.
