ACM Queue magazine: special issue on object/relational mapping

posted Tuesday, 24 June 2008

ACM Queue cover One of my favorite technology magazines is ACM Queue. Unlike most ACM publications, which tend to be rather academic, ACM Queue is targeted at computer professionals. Each issue typically has several interesting and insightful articles about a particular technology. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be the guest editor of the May/June issue, which focuses on object/relational mapping. A couple of excellent articles are now available online: Bridging the Object/relational Divide by Craig Russell (Sun) and Exposing the ORM Cache by Michael Keith (Oracle) and Randy Stafford (Oracle).
